Starting the Game
The chess board will look like the board below.
Moves
To make a move, you must choose one of your pieces on the board, and move it from its current square to another square. The square it moves to must either be empty, or contain a piece belonging to the other chobot.
If the square contains the other chobot's piece, then that piece is removed from the board and placed off to the side. This move is called 'capturing'.

The Pieces and There Rules
In chess, there are six types of pieces. Each type of piece moves in a different way.
Pawn
The pawn has two different moves.
A pawn's first move: On it's first move, the pawn may move two squares straight ahead. It may not jump when making this move.
A pawn's move: When a pawn moves straight ahead, the square it moves to must be empty.
King
The King moves one square in any direction. You cannot move the King to a square where he could be captured.
Queen
The Queen moves in a straight line in any direction. The Queen cannot jump over other pieces.
Bishop
The Bishop moves straight through the corners of the squares. He cannot jump over other pieces.
Knight
The Knight (or Horse) can jump over other pieces. It moves by leaping two squares forwards, backwards, or sideways, and then turning and leaping one more square, making an 'L' shape. Use the knight to try and 'capture' the other chobot's pieces.'
Rook
The Rook (or Castle) moves straight forwards, backwards, or sideways. It cannot jump over other pieces.
How You Can Win
A chobot wins the game when on their next move, they can 'capture' the other chobot's King, and there's no move the other chobot can make to stop it.
Then the winner can say check mate =)
